My book casts Hefner as a cartoon parody of himself on a tepid reality show, paying his brace of intellectually challenged, surgically enhanced women two grand a night to have sex with him while he gobbles Viagra and watches gay porn. It breaks my heart,? he says, ?just writing about it.?

Mike Edison is the former publisher of High Times magazine, a Hustler and Penthouse correspondent, and the former editor-in-chief of Screw magazine. Edison enjoyed unprecedented access in researching this book, speaking directly with Larry Flynt, Al Goldstein, and Bob Guccione, Jr. He is the author of several books, including the legendary memoir I Have Fun Everywhere I Go (Faber & Faber/2008).
